An earthquake of 5.1 intensity jolted Peshawar, Malakand Division and Khyber Agency on Sunday. According to Metrological Department, the quake measuring 5.1 on the rector scale shocked Peshawar region, Dir Lower, Batkhela, Buner, Batgram, Mansihra and Khyber Agency, however no loss of life and property was reported.
People rushed out of their houses and shops sensing tremor. It was also felt in Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan and Azad Kashmir.
