A five-member Pakistan Weightlifting Team comprising four players and one coach is leaving for Thailand tomorrow (Wednesday) for participation in the Ist Youth World Weightlifting Championship being staged at Chiang Mal from May 19 to 24. The Pakistan Weightlifting squad is comprised of Sheikh Arbab Raza, Irfan Butt, Zohaib Sohail, Abu Sufian and Qaiser Iftikhar (Coach).
A spokesman of Pakistan Weightlifting Federation told Business Recorder that a strong team has been selected which will earn medals for the country. The team will return home on May 26.
