Upward trend was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Thursday as most of the commodity items tended higher on tight supply position, dealers said. On the cereal side gur low type was up by Rs 100 to Rs 5,600 and better type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 6,000; other items held the overnight levels amid subdued trading, they added.
On the grams side, gram 50x50 low type was higher by Rs 175 to Rs 3,300 and good type rose by Rs 200 to Rs 3,500; yellow peas Canada low quality gained Rs 50 to Rs 2,725 and best type was up by Rs 75 to Rs 2,850, yellow peas dal Canada followed suit rising by Rs 75 to Rs 3,000 and good type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3,150 and dal beetle moved up by Rs 50 to Rs 3,750-3,950; they said.
