Asian physical rubber prices were steady on Thursday as supply remained tight. The yen's strength, which should encourage demand from Japan, provided a firm floor for Asian rubber prices, said a trader at a Japanese trading firm. But Tokyo rubber futures eased as the yen's rise against the dollar deflates yen-based rubber prices.
