Military operation in Swat: President convenes meeting to discuss security situation

President Asif Ali Zardari has convened a high level meeting here today (Monday) to discuss the security and law and order in the wake of military action in Swat. The meeting will be attended by concerned federal ministers, chief ministers, Governor Frontier, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, chief executive Northern Areas, Secretary Interior, all chief secretaries, all IGPs, DG ISI, DG IB.
The meeting has been convened in light of president's directive he had given during his visit to Karachi. The meeting will review the security situation in the wake of operation against militants in Swat.
