In pursuance of directions of Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, Mobile Ophthalmology Unit (MOU) of Mayo Hospital is extending treatment of eye diseases to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in relief camp at Mardan. The Director General Health Punjab, Dr Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry said that the mobile unit visited different camps to treat eye diseases.
He said that out of 500 people 158 would be provided optical free of cost which are being prepared at Lahore whereas 12 patients have been referred for surgery.
