Indonesian shares ended 1.01 percent lower on Monday on profit-taking in most commodity-related stocks as oil prices dipped, dealers said. The Jakarta Composite Index lost 21.06 points to 2,069.87 in moderate volume. Coal miner Bumi Resources slid 5.6 percent to 2,100 rupiah, rival Indo Tambangraya dropped 5.2 percent to 22,000 while palm oil producer London Sumatra fell 3.8 percent to 6,400.
Indonesian shares gained 12.01 points to 2,090.94 last week as oil prices hit a record for the year above 73 dollars, spurring buying in commodity-related stocks. But crude fell to around 70 dollars in Asia Monday as dealers took profits.
