Pakistan people's Party provincial President Mehdi Shah said Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) was successfully underway in the Northern Areas. For this purpose, said he had met Federal Minister Kashmir and Northern Area Qamar Zaman Qaira and President Benazir Income Support Programme Farzana Raja and discussed matters relating to welfare of the people of the area.
They instructed to prepare the list of needy people on urgent basis so that they could be benefited in a befitting manner. He said that PPP was taking concrete steps for the development of the Northern Areas and people had widely appreciated these steps.
