A seven member Nepali media team headed by Mathbar Singh Masnat visited PTV Headquarters, Islamabad. The Director International Relations, M. Z. Sohail briefed the delegation on PTV. The delegates declared that PTV has made exemplary progress in its field and stands ahead of all others in South East Asia because India, Nepal and Sri Lanka commenced their telecasts much later than those of PTV.
PTV's dramas are extraordinarily successful and interesting. Most of the channels in the region have learnt the art of drama production from these dramas. PTV dramas are extremely popular among the Nepalese and they have learnt Urdu by watching these dramas. It is the reason that if ever you happen to visit Nepal you won't need any interpreter.-PR
