Former Governor Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) has said that Swat operation will be completed very soon whereas operation in tribal areas will continue for some time. He was addressing the press briefing organised by Jazba Foundation to highlight their welfare activities for Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) of Malakand Division on Friday.
About the drone attacks, he said that attacks will stop very soon as Pakistani forces were achieving success against terrorists and this had developed a positive image of Pakistan abroad. He appreciated the efforts of Jazba Foundation for IDPs and briefed about the future plans of Jazba Foundation. "We are very grateful for the efforts made by Muheedin from Akbari Mandi, who helped us in purchasing of edible items," he added.
