Latest stress management techniques coupled with advance driving track are being build at zonal level to impart comprehensive driving training among the drivers to curb the tendency of road rage and careless driving in the country. Inspector General (IG), National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP), Dr Wasim Kauser, said this while presiding over a high level meeting at zonal headquarter, Lahore.
NH&MP is planning to establish driving training school at zonal level, which would be augmented advance driving track and stress management centre to impart quickly modern training among the road drivers, he added. He further said that layout plan of driving school are being designed according to international standards, adding that trouble shooting and a maintenance courses are being designed to enable the drivers to immediately identify the faults and take immediate steps to rectify them.
Moreover, he said that driving school would be used for giving training to all three promotional courses and weak drivers of NH&MP. He further said that drivers training courses for different police department, multinational and national organisations have also initiated in these schools.
