Federal Minister for Education Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani on Saturday said the budgetary allocation for Education sector had been raised by 50 percent this year and it would be enhanced further next year. In an exclusive talk with the APP here at the Parliament House, Bijarani said the main focus of the ministry this year would be laid on education for all, girls' education and Madressah reforms.
"We want to strengthen the basics and education for all, girls education and Madressah reforms would remain the main focus of our priority. Moreover, Rs 22 billion have been allocated for higher education and the government would assist the students b providing scholarships for acquiring higher education," he added. The Minister said the government would further raise the budgetary allocations for the education sector next year.
