SSP (operations), Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmad, has suspended SHO Jauhar Town police station on the charges of delaying in the registration of car theft case and not dealing politely to the applicant. The SSP has also ordered for departmental enquiry against SHO Rafiullah.
According to a handout issued here on Sunday, Rana Hamad Khan had lodged complaint with the SSP (operations), alleging that the SHO neither registered case of his stolen car (LZP-8933) nor he met him at police station.
He added that the SHO used to call him to police station every morning and evening but he did not meet him and also has been disappeared from the police station for last many days. After preliminary enquiry, SSP suspended SHO Rafiullah and directed SP Headquarters to take stern departmental action after conducting a detailed enquiry.
