A contest on "Obesity: Its Causes, Impact and Prevention" was organised by the Bahria University's Medical and Dental College to enhance knowledge of students about the topic. According to a statement, 30 teams of students participated in the four-day competition.
The winning team consisted of Wajahat Alam, Madiha Mohiuddin and Misbah Mustafa. The teams of Rozina Khalid and Majad Rehman secured second and third positions respectively.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Principal Professor Dr Tipu Sultan said, "Such research contests not only help foster awareness but also enhance knowledge." He praised the efforts of the Department of Biochemistry for organising the event.
