Three injured in IED blast

DIR LOWER: Three persons sustained injuries when a vehicle carrying members of peace committee was hit by a roadside

DIR LOWER: Three persons sustained injuries when a vehicle carrying members of peace committee was hit by a roadside Improvised Explosive Device (IED) here on Wednesday.

According to police, the members of peace committee, Maidan village Sori Paomera was en-route to bazaar when they reached at village Mera was hit by an IED planted along the roadside. As a result of explosion, Ahmed Rehman and two others sustained injuries.

The injured were shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital Lala Qila and DHQ Timergara Dir Lower.
