The Sri Lankan High Commissioner Jayalath Weerakkody here on Friday visited Punjab Assembly and met Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal. During the meeting, the Speaker apprised the guest of the history of the Assembly including working of Standing Committees and parliamentary norms.
He also discussed matters of mutual interests on the occasion. Secretary Assembly Maqsood Malik was present in the meeting. The Speaker presented a shield to the guest in his visit.
