The Ministry of Zakat and Ushr is striving to ensure optimum utilisation of Zakat funds within the financial regulations of the government of Pakistan. In this respect, the Ministry held training workshops for the benefit of finance departments of National Level Health Institutions in Quetta, Karachi and Lahore.
Similar workshops for the institutions of Peshawar and Islamabad will also be held in 2nd week of July in Islamabad. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Zakat and Ushr, the interactive workshops were found very useful in apprising the participants of the rules for disbursement towards Zakat recipients and for the purchase of medicaments out of Zakat funds under PPRA Rules.-PR
