None of our leaders now wear national dress which is sherwani, shalwar and Jinnah cap. You see some wearing sherwani, shalwar and prefer to wear Sindhi cap or other headgear which is not the national dress. We are gradually losing our national identity. Our top leaders should set an example in wearing national dress on important occasions.
At present, we have Quaid-e-Azam's portrait being replaced by Benazir. Most of the federal and provincial ministers prefer to have the photograph of the slain leader displayed prominently in their offices, drawing rooms, conference rooms. No portrait of Quaid-e-Azam is shown. There is no substitute for the Founder of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Nations who forget their leaders meet a sad end.
