Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig Chairman Standing Committee on Banking, Credit & Finance of FPCCI in a letter greeted Ali Raza on his extension as President NBP. Dr Baig said, it reflects the confidence of the government and policy makers on his abilities. Under his leadership National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has achieved several national and international awards and improved its highest credit ranking.
In addition, Ali Raza was also given away leadership achievement award 2007 by the Asian Banker which is indeed a great honour for Pakistan. Baig assured President NBP his full co-operation and support towards his endeavour for the revival of industrial sector of Pakistan.
Ali Raza is also one of the speakers at a seminar "The Looming Default Spectre, its impact on Industry/Economy and the way out" and "Monetary Policy and Economic Growth" to be organised by FPCCI on July 28 at Federation House. The speakers are: Salim Raza Governor SBP, Sirajuddin Aziz CEO Bank Alfalah, Zakir Mahmood President HBL, the Economist Dr Hafeez Pasha, A B Shahid, Tariq Mahmod Chairman Aptma, Sultan Chawla President FPCCI and Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig.-PR
