Norwegian embassy in Islamabad has been closed after a threatening letter was received regarding the presence of bomb in the embassy. The embassy had received a threatening letter and it was evacuated and after bomb disposal squad checked the embassy premises thoroughly, declared it safe, Police sources said here on Thursday.
After the threat, the Norwegian Government ordered its embassy in Islamabad to close for at least two days for security reasons, sources in foreign ministry said. The officials of the foreign ministry have confirmed the closure of the Norwegian embassy but no further information received about the threat.
