Traders of Lahore have announced complete shutter down strike today against loadshedding, surging petroleum prices and increasing rates of electricity. According to Anjumane Tajiran Pakistan President Haji Maqsood Markets which include wholesale and retail markets of the city will remain closed on Saturday.
He demanded that the government should reverse the decision of increasing petroleum and electricity prices. He also said that the recent increase has destroyed the businesses and main cause of the price hike.
He said all the traders are united against the increasing prices. He said that if the government did not accept their demands then they would announce their plan of action with the consultation of traders. While Lahore Sarafa Association announced the support Saturdays shutter down strike.
