Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), senior leaders and district presidents met Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Faryal Talpur, MNA, at CM House here. According to a statement issued here on Sunday, the PPP leaders discussed the development activities and political situation of the metropolis.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who is also the President PPP Sindh said that the present democratic government was striving under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari in accordance with the vision of Benazir Bhutto to serve the masses without any difference of their cast or creed.
He said that the Pakistan Army was fighting against the terrorists and hunting them down with bravery as well as also eliminating their hide-outs for which, he said the Army deserves glowing tribute.
Speaking on the occasion, MNA Faryal Talpur said that the government has the support of nation in war against terrorism. She said President Asif Ali Zardari gives great importance to metropolis and he is determined for the development and prosperity in the city. She said that the present government will practically implement all the points of the manifesto given by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
