Arts Council, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Karachi Press Club are jointly organising a seminar on "Media and PR challenges in the global world", on July 16.
The purpose of the seminar is to acquaint the local media persons with journalistic ethical norms and also encourage them to join the global news media, said Syed Atiq-ul-Hassan- an Australia-based media expert at a press conference held at KPC on Friday.On the occasion, KPC secretary A. H. Khanzada, President KCCI Anjum Nisar, chief executive creative brand were also present.
The seminar will take place at Arts council. He urged the local journalists to highlight the public problems, while answering a question, he said that in Australia there is no censorship on media but strict code of conducts for media persons. The seminar will primarily focus on the responsibilities. He said that there will also be short-course for journalists .
