After its luxury cars, Lamborghini has taken a step forward by launching its luxury smartphone and it is probably a bit too expensive to afford for a person with average income just like its luxurious cars.

Named as ‘Alpha One Premium Package’, the phone is entirely regal black in color with an Italian leather phone case. With its price reaching the skies, the phone costs $2,450 that is Rs. 258168.75 to be exact – a bit too expensive to afford unless the person is brand-conscious.

However, it’s not the first time Lamborghini has stepped into smartphone business. In 1981, Tonino Lamborghini, an heir of Lamborghini family also launched luxury watches, eyewear, perfumes, smartphones and much more. Also in 2015, Tonino launched ‘88 Tauri’, an Android phone that cost $6,000 (Rs. 632250.00), reported Tech Juice.

Moving on, the premium vehicle maker informed that the newly launched phone has been made “from the finest materials, including handcrafted Italian leather and liquid alloy developed specifically to resist corrosion (scratches and dents) whilst remaining lightweight”. It also has a ‘stronger than titanium’ liquid metal that is similar to that used in Lamborghini cars.

The phone runs on Android Nougat with a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The phone has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage with option of being expanded up to 128GB. Having a 20MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, the phone comes with dual-SIM, Dolby dual-speaker, 3,250mAh battery life and also a fast fingerprint sensor.

The phone is available for sale online and also in luxury stores like Harrod’s in UK and Dubai Mall in UAE, informed T3me.
