The International Youth Day will also be marked in Karachi on August 12. To celebrate the occasion, a symposium would be organised at a local hotel on Wednesday. An announcement on Tuesday said that the moot would be held under the auspices of the Youth Affairs Department of the Government of Sindh in collaboration with the Habib University Foundation.
It said that the theme of the symposium is: 'Understanding, Inspiring and Empowering Youth'. Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Faisal Ali Subzwari will be chief guest. An announcement of the Habib University Foundation said that the moot is designed to understand the youths' potential for positive social change, economic development and technological innovation, inspire youth for making positive contributions to their communities and empower youth for their full participation in the society.
