Subsidised wheat flour to be available at Ramazan bazaars

The wheat flour will be available at highly subsidised rate of Rs 200 per 20-kilogram bag at Ramazan bazaars. Divisional Commissioner Hassan Iqbal said on Monday that sugar would be available at those bazaars at Rs 40 per kg, whereas it was being sold in the open market at the rate of Rs 50 or above.
"The government has decided to set up 31 special Ramazan bazaars and 112 fair price shops during the holy month of Ramazan", the Commissioner said while appreciating that the business community willingly agreed to reduce the prices of consumer items by five percent during the month of Ramazan.
