President, Pakistan Psychiatric Society (PPS), Professor Haroon Rashid Chaudhry, who is also Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Fatima Jinnah Medical College/Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore, will start student Counselling and Parents Guidance Section with the Team of Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore at Government Central Model School, Lower Mall, Lahore from October 7.
This centre will provide counselling services to the students who are facing psychological problems, difficulties in studies and interaction with classmates. In addition, the centre will also provide guidance to their parents regarding healthy parent-child relationship said by the spokesperson of Fountain House Lahore.
Professor Haroon Rashid Chaudhry thanked Khair Muhammad, Senior Head Master and former Justice Amir Raza, Chairman, Board of Governor, Government Central Model School, Lahore and Professor Abdul Majeed Chaudhry, Principal, Fatima Jinnah Medical College Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore for starting this useful activity.
