NAWABSHAH: Up and down railway tracks were damaged near Nawabshah Railway station when devices planted by unidentified elements blasted in the early hours of Sunday.
The locally made devices blasted one after the other on up and down tracks at 6.00 a.m near the down outer signal.
The blast blew up one foot pieces of both the tracks stranding the approaching trains. However Karachi- bound Tezgam escaped a big disaster as the blast on down track occurred just one and half minute before the arrival of train.
