British group Rolls-Royce on Monday said it had won two contracts from PetroChina for power systems to be installed on the West to East Gas Pipeline Project stretching across China. Rolls-Royce said the value of the orders exceeded 120 million dollars (84 million euros), while the equipment to be made in Canada and the United States would be delivered to the Chinese energy giant in 2010.
"We are very pleased to once again be selected by PetroChina to provide Rolls-Royce power and compression equipment for their growing pipeline network," Tony Ruegger, vice president for Rolls-Royce Oil & Gas, said in a statement.
