Pakistan is a country with endless talent. Be it any field, Pakistan is stepping up its game. Recently, Pakistani students have created a robot that is able to defuse bombs.

Four engineering students from the University of Engineering Science and Technology in Narowal’s sub-campus made Pakistan to raise its head up with pride via this new invention. According to the students, the robot can defuse the bomb along with doing a surveillance job such as monitoring a danger zone and shift the injured.

As a project for their final year thesis, Arqam Imran, Mubashar Ashraf, Subhan Ahmad and Ahmad Khan were the students behind this amazing project.

The robot can be controlled from a distance of 150 meters through internet. The robot is also able to move on uneven surfaces easily. Equipped with cameras, the robot makes use of attached trolleys that transports the explosives from one place to another and that too without causing any harm to human life.

Dawn reported Arqam Imran saying, “The earlier model of the robot which we had prepared could only move on a straight road but this one uses a tank track, to move on uneven surface also.”

Furthermore, the robot is fire-proof and can work in extreme conditions such as helping fire brigade to evacuate people from any building.

If this claim proves to be true, it can provide immense help for the security agencies of Pakistan that go through certain hurdles such as land mines in FATA where operations are being conducted against militants, informs Tech Juice.
