Summaries of the ICE Futures US cocoa, coffee and sugar markets. December arabica coffee contract up 0.10 cent to $1.2260 per lb at 11:08 am EDT (1508 GMT). Session range from $1.2170 to $1.2370. Market little changed as origin sellers waited for higher prices and roasters awaited lower ones, while open interest continued to fall, said traders.
October raw sugar contract 0.21 cent higher at 22.00 cents per lb at 11:09 am. Trading range from 21.60 to 22.25 cents. Benchmark December cocoa contract surged $81 to $3,007 per tonne by 11:09 am. Range from $2,914 to $3,025, the highest for the second position since August 4, 2008.
