DCO for ensuring fire safety standards in high-rises

District Co-ordination Officer (DCO), Faisalabad Saeed Wahlah has directed the officers concerned to ensure implementation of fire safety standards for multi storey/high-rises buildings in the city to avert losses in case of fire. He was presiding over monthly meeting of District Emergency Board held here at DCO Office.
The DCO said that it was in their own interests of the owners of plazas, commercial and high rise buildings to keep the fire safety measure intact, otherwise necessary legal action would be taken against them. He asked the Rescue 1122 administration to prepare an effective and co-ordinated security plan for Eid-ul-Fitr. District Emergency Officer Mian Riffat Zia briefed the meeting.
