At least six people were killed and 11 others wounded in an armed clash between two groups in tehsil Chethar of district Naseerabad here on Friday. According to the DSP Chethar, the entry of cattle into the fields of the rival group early Friday morning ignited the clash. The well-entrenched armed tribesmen used sophisticated arms against each other in the clash, which lasted for several hours and resulted in the killing of six persons and wounding of 11 others.
A large number of personnel of the police and Balochistan Constabulary rushed to the area and arrested several armed men and got their trenches vacated. The situation was reported to be in the control of the police and the district administration.
