Supreme Court Registry Branch building renovation: Nespak assigned consultancy
National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) has been assigned consultancy for the design and the construction of supervision of renovation work of the historic Supreme Court Registry Branch building opposite GPO Lahore. The building, which was constructed in 1890-1894, represents the beautiful architecture of British era.
As part of the rehabilitation measures, Nespak has planned to replace the existing reinforced brickwork slabs with new reinforced concrete slab system. Interior structural system and rehabilitation measures are being taken keeping in view the exterior peripheral architecture features and aesthetics of the building façade. Presently testing of the existing structure is in progress in order to evaluate the available the available strength of materials.
