The DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri has announced that eleven complaint centres have been established control price hike of essential commodities of daily use, in this connection the staff of Market Committee has been constituted in the district.
According to the announcement these complaint centres have been established each at Fire brigade station tower market, fire brigade station Faqeer-Jo-Pir, opposite MCB Risala road Lajpat road, Near Mustafa Masjid Unit No 11 Latifabad, Main Market Unit No 7 Latifabad, Eid-e-Millad-un-Nabi Chowk Unit No l0 Latifabad, Main Market Phulleli, Naseem Nagar Main Market Qasimabad, Technical College Old Wahdat Colony, Main Sabazi Mandi Hali Road Hyderabad and Main Bazar Tandojam.
The DCO has advised the general public and NGOs of the district to lodge their complaints in respect of high-inflated prices of essential commodities with the staff of Market Committee and send the same to administrator at once for taking necessary action against the profiteers under prevailing law. They were further advised to register their complaints with DDO, Mukhtiarkar (retd), who are price checking magistrates.
