Huge cache of arms seized in Charsadda: DPO

Police have thwarted a sabotage act by seizing huge quantity of arms and other explosive material from a vehicle in Charsadda district on Sunday, DPO Riaz Khan said. He told reporters that police intercepted a suspected vehicle at Sarwaryab check-post and recovered four repeater guns, 10 Klashinikovs, 34 pistols, four bags of explosives and thousands of cartridges from hidden cells of the vehicle.
Two persons one of whom belongs to Afghanistan and another from Bara Khyber Agency have been arrested. He said investigation was underway.
