NWFP Governor, Owais Ahmed Ghani has strongly condemned the suicide bomb attack on police station at Mingora in District Swat and expressed his deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives. The Governor has described the incident a highly cowardly act of terrorism.
In a condolence message on Sunday, the Governor said the incident itself speaks the barbaric and retrogressive mindset of the miscreants involved in such inhuman acts of extremism, who are already in the run, and killing innocent citizens in frustration.
Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chief Minister, Amir Haider Hoti, Information Minister, Mian Iftikhar Hussain also strongly condemned suicide attack that claimed precious lives, has termed it as inhuman and cowardice act. Such elements, they added, are in fact the enemies of the country and targeting security forces is the visible proof of their nefarious designs in this respect.
While expressing their heartfelt sympathies with members of the bereaved families, they assured that the elements involved in the heinous crime will no more remain at large would be brought to court of law shortly. They have also asked the people to fully cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and ensure lasting peace in the area.
