At least four persons, including a woman died on the spot while another seven passengers sustained serious burn injuries when a CNG cylinder fitted in the van exploded with a bang. The injured were shifted to burn unit of Nishtar Hospital, Multan.
DPO Rajanpur Shahid Javed said," four persons burnt alive and another seven persons injured when a substandard CNG cylinder of Rojhan Bound van exploded violently," He said that van No3576 was coming from Sadiqabad carrying 20 passengers. The injured were identified as Naz Mai alias Nazi, Muhammad Ayyub, Pathani bibi (35), Inam Bakhsh, Shazia (14).
