Search operations in Swat and other areas under way

Security forces conducted search operation in Bampur Sar, Sar Colony, Minglour, Banjot and Sabar Shah and apprehended six suspects. Besides, two terrorists were apprehended in a search operation conducted in Garai village near Fatehpur. Security forces also conducted search operation in Loe Namal and recovered cache of arms and IED making accessories.
Three suspects were arrested by the security forces from Kanju and Kabbal areas.
A terrorist voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Chakdarra Fort. In Dir, security forces carried out search operation at Lamatai and Suripao and recovered cache of arms and ammunitions. APP adds: At least 44 more terrorists were apprehended by security forces besides recovery of huge cache of arms as part of ongoing operation Rah-e-Raast in Swat and Malakand division.
