Federal capital police here on Sunday said that there was no restriction on the movement of renowned nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan as directed by the court. A police spokesman said that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was a free man to travel or go anywhere, adding neither the capital police restricted his movement earlier nor intends to do in future.
The spokesman further said that the police had evolved an effective mechanism of patrolling to protect life and property of the citizens of the federal capital by utilising all its available resources.
