Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Tuesday condemned Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) for threatening the ruling party. In a statement issued here Information Secretary PPP Sindh Waqar Mehdi strongly criticised the PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal who, Mehdi said, had started accusing PPP instead of the one who had levelled accusations against PML-N.
He said despite a clear rejection from the presidential spokesman, Farhatullah Babar, the PML-N leader had "shamefully" embarked upon an anti-PPP campaign under heinous designs. Recalling his party's past determination against the atrocities inflicted upon them by, what the PPP leader said, Iqbal's ancestors, Mehdi said PML-N should itself clarify the authenticity of the allegations made by Brigadier Imtiaz (Retd). "Never attach People's Party with a person, like Brigadier Imtiaz (Retd)," he warned.-PR
