The Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) has taken suo motu notice about subordinate courts employees who are deprived of increase in judicial allowance due to lethargic attitude of the provincial finance department and directed Secretary Finance to appear before the court along with complete record.
The Chief Justice taking suo motu notice observed that he wanted to know about the actual position and the action taken in the matter by the relevant authorities, also directed law officer to assist the court on the matter on September 03. The court also directed additional registrar of the court to transmit the court orders to the law officer for doing the needful. The LHC had passed orders two months back about judicial allowance for the 9000 employees of subordinate courts.
