Gojra incident: eight witnesses' statements recorded

Inquiry tribunal looking into the matter of Gojra incident recorded the statement of eight witnesses. The tribunal headed by a judge of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has recorded statements of total 565 witnesses till date. The inquiry proceedings adjourned to September 02 for recording the statement of seven witnesses to whom notices have already been issued by the tribunal.
Tribunal issued notices to the remaining eight witnesses along with other five have respectively been issued for September 04 and 05 for their appearance before the tribunal at the principal seat of the LHC.
