Punjab Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Sardar Dost Muhamamd Khan Khosa, has directed all Town Municipals officers (TMOs) of the division to work diligently to make holding of 'Sastay Ramazan Bazaars' a success in their respective areas.
He said that in this regard negligence, lethargy and inefficiency would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against the guilty officials. He stated this while chairing a meeting held in Commissioner office of TMOs here on Tuesday. Commissioner Tahir Hussain and other concerned officers were also present. The minister instructed the TMOs to remain vigilant during the current rainy season and make extraordinary arrangements for disposal of rainy water from streets besides ensuring cleanliness at Sastay Ramazan Bazaars and mobile flour sale points.
Sardar Dost Khosa maintained that the C M Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif had taken revolutionary steps for the welfare of the people and allocation of billions of rupees for Ramazan package to provide subsidised Atta and other essential items to consumers was a historic step. The officers and officials of Punjab government should earnestly endeavour to make these steps beneficial for common men.
