Chairman, National Reconstruction Bureau, Dr Asim Hussain and former State Minister, Tariq Azeem met with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Chief Altaf Hussain at MQM's International Secretariat at London, said a statement issued by MQM here on Sunday. Dr Asim, who is also former Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum, informed Altaf Hussain regarding concerns of people and the elected representatives about future of Local government system.
The former Minister of State, Tariq Azeem discussed the overall political situation with the MQM Chief. Speaking on the occasion, Altaf said the government and opposition should accept and respect the mandate of each other. All should forget their political and ideological differences and work for the country, democracy and for resolution of the problems of the people, the MQM Chief added.
