Mortar shells fired from undisclosed location left five people dead in tehsil Ambar, Mohmand Agency late Tuesday. Reporting reaching here said that Gul Muhammad, Sher Muhammad and Walayat Khan were killed when their houses were hit by the mortar shells in Mosa Kore in tehsil Ambar while two were killed in Ghiljo Darra area. Meanwhile tribal elder Malik Walayat Shah was shot dead by unknown killers close to his house after Iftari the other day.
He received two bullets in his chest and immediately shifted to Agency Headquarters Hospital Ghalanai where he succumbed to his injuries.
