The Karachi Port handled 132,844 tonnes of cargo including 74,096 tonnes import and 58,748 tonnes export cargo including 4,956 empty and loaded containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 112,858 tonnes dry cargo including 73,244 tonnes containerised and general cargo; 3,531 tonnes fertilizer; 2,599 tonnes yellow peas; 12,500 tonnes coal; 3,800 tonnes rock phosphate; 10,729 tonnes cement and 19,986 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Four ships namely Uni Promote, Heike-P, SC Xiamen and Avenier sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Al-Mariyah, Olympia and Sammi Superstar are currently at the berths. Three ships namely Al-Mariyah, APL Sharjah and Bulk Arrow expected to sail on Tuesday, while another two vessels viz Bunga Pelangi Dua and Olympia are expected to sail on Wednesday. Three vessels viz Classy Victoria, MT Swat and High Saturn due to arrive on Tuesday, while another four ships namely Samin-1, Progress, Jin Quan and African Eagle are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 68,096 tonnes comprising 56,757 tonnes import and 11,339 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,592 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 34,877 tonnes diesel oil; 7,000 tonnes palm oil; 4,139 tonnes cement and 22,080 tonnes containerised cargo. Three ships namely MT MT Stella, CV Saudi Abha and MT Cherry Galaxy sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another four ships namely MT Classy Victoria, MV Hiba Al-Noor-B, MV Alexi-3 and CV Maersk Missouri are expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of six vessels viz Nedlloyed Oceania, Sea Lion, Sea Sky, Chrisopigi Lady, Gemini and Rozy scheduled to load/offload containers, furnace oil and cement are currently at the outer anchorage. Seven ships namely CV Saudi Abha, CV Maersk Missouri, MV Alexi-3, MV Gulf Eagle, MV Hiba Al-Noor-B, MT Cherry Galaxy and MT Classy Victoria are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, palm oil and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Three ships namely CV Nedlloyed Oceania, MV Rozy and MT Chrisopigi Lady scheduled to load/offload containers, cement and furnace oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Tuesday. Three vessels viz Hanjin Lisban, ACX Marguerite and CV SC Qingdao are due to arrive on Wednesday.
Eleven ships namely Cape Magnus, Hammurabi, MSC Eagle, Maersk Novazzano, UASC Shuaiba, OOCL Kobe, Gem of Mangalore, Ocean of Luck, Opal-II, Great Bright and Rapallo carrying containers, chemicals, cement, yellow peas, coke and coal are also expected to arrive.
