Minister Excise, Taxation, Transport and Education Punjab, Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has directed the Excise Department officials to utilise all available resources for convenience of the common man. He directed that more new E&T offices should be established in various corners ie Thokhar Niaz Beig, Lahore.
He also directed to work hard for achieving target of collection of taxes and accelerate pace of recovery. During a meeting with officers of the Excise Department at newly launched E&T Office in XX Block, Khyaban-e-Iqbal Road Defence, the Minister directed to improve the registration as well as taxation system in order to provide maximum facilities to the people. He also directed to further simplify the registration and tax recovery system so that the targets could be achieved amicably within stipulated time.
