The Karachi Port handled 100,550 tonnes of cargo including 42,481 tonnes import and 58,069 tonnes export cargo including 4,238 empty and loaded containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargo comprised of 85,550 tonnes dry cargo including 58,107 tonnes containerised and general cargo; 2,455 tonnes fertiliser; 4,864 tonnes wheat; 12,331 tonnes coal; 7,793 tonnes cement and 15,000 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Sima Sahba, MSC Germany, Christina, MT Swat, Sammi Superstar, Aliki L and UBC Cebu sailed out to sea during the report period. Three vessels viz Kota Hakim, LTC Calvin P. Titus and Lucky Arrow are currently at the berths. Three ships namely Kota Hakim, LTC Calvin P. Titus and Lucky Arrow expected to sail on Saturday, while another three vessels Alliance New York, Bavaria Express and YM Yantian expected to sail on Sunday.
Three vessels viz Hanjin Qingdao, Alliance New York and Brilliant Pescadores due to arrive on Saturday, while another six ships namely MT Johar, Najadi, Cape Sable, Queen Arrow-II, Pacific Express and Aann are due to arrive on Sunday. Seven ships namely Rich Queen, Dubai Princess, ADA S, Bunga Raya Dua, Al-Ihsaa, MSC Finland and Moondance-II are due to arrive on Monday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 87,241 tonnes comprising 66,011 tonnes import and 21,230 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,337 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Saturday. The cargo comprised of 24,214 tonnes furnace oil; 9,000 tonnes palm oil; 8,798 tonnes coal; 6,164 tonnes LPG; 7,454 tonnes cement and 31,611 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely MT Royal Stella, CV OOCL Kobe and MT GAS Chios sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another three ships namely CV Maersk Novazzano, MT Rio Gracia and MT SC Shanghai are expected to sail on Saturday afternoon. A total of six vessels viz Aral-C, Nostos, Sun Pine, Al-Soor-II, Gem of Mangalore and Opal-II scheduled to load/offload furnace oil, palm oil, diesel oil, phosphoric acid and cement are currently at the outer anchorage.
Ten ships namely CV Maersk Novazzano, CV OOCL Kobe, MV Rozy, MV Gemini-II, MV Gulf Eagle, MV Rapallo, MT GAS Chios, MT Rio Gracia, MT SC Shanghai and MT Sea Sky are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, coal, LPG, palm oil and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours. Two ships namely MT Gem of Mangalore and MT Sun Pine carrying phosphoric acid and palm oil are expected to take berths at Engro Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively on Saturday.
Two vessels viz MSC Eagle and MT New Advance with containers and crude oil are due to arrive on Saturday, while another two vessels viz MSC Bulgaria and MT Po Yang Hu are due to arrive on Sunday. Ten ships namely MSC Stefania, Maersk Ohio, Nedlloyed Asia, Cape Magnus, Hammurabi, Yuan Cheng, Woojin Emerald, Leopard-B, Ocean of Luck and Great Bright carrying containers, palm oil, cement, yellow peas, and coke are also expected to arrive.
