The Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has distributed 1000 food packets of different items among the affected people of tehsil Bara operation on Sunday. The food packets include 500 packets of flour (atta) and 500 bags of sugar, rice, pulses and ghee, said a press release of PTI.
The PTI had set up the camp for the rehabilitation and assistance of Bara operation at Pishtakara Chowk on Ring Road one week ago where the victims are being provided relief goods under the PTI Ramazan package. Provincial President of PTI, Asad Qaisar visited the camp and instructed the staff to provide every possible help and assistance to the dislocated families.
He said that Tahrik-e-Insaf would continue to help provide assistance to their displaced brothers during this time of need and tribulations and will not leave them alone in this hour of lurch.
The PTI workers will continue their duties in the camps till complete rehabilitation of the affected people. He said more camps would be established for Bara affectees if necessary. He demanded for relaxation in curfew hours so that people of Bara could purchase essential items for themselves and families on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Asad Qaisar said people in large number are joining PTI due to the bold principal stance of the PTI Chief Imran Khan over national and international issues. He said PTI will solve all the problems of people and would provide general items to them at their doorsteps after coming into power.
